Terms of Service
Last updated: April 24, 2026
These terms of service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Enveloppe service (the "Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose
Enveloppe provides a QR-code file-collection service, letting a professional ("User") expose a public page on which their clients ("Droppers") can upload files without creating an account.
2. Account
- Creation via email + password, or SSO.
- One account = one individual or entity. Credential sharing is prohibited.
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials.
3. Acceptable use
The User agrees not to use Enveloppe to:
- Collect data without a valid legal basis.
- Store or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Circumvent technical limits (quotas, abuse protection).
- Operate phishing or impersonate a third party.
The content of uploaded files is the sole responsibility of the User operating the page.
4. Pricing and billing
- Free plan is limited (see pricing page).
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, inclusive of taxes.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
- Non-payment leads to account suspension after 7 days.
5. Availability
Enveloppe targets 99.5% availability excluding planned maintenance. The service is provided "as is", without warranty beyond what the law requires.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its code, brand, and content are Enveloppe's property. The User retains all rights on files received through the Service. Enveloppe holds only a technical storage-and-transmission license, limited to the duration necessary to provide the Service.
7. Retention and deletion
- Files are auto-deleted at the end of the retention window.
- The User can delete a file manually at any time.
- Upon termination, data is deleted within 30 days.
8. Liability
Enveloppe is not liable for indirect damages (loss of revenue, missed opportunity). In any case, liability is capped at the amounts paid in the last 12 months.
9. Termination
The User may cancel their subscription at any time from the dashboard. Enveloppe may terminate an account for breach of Terms, after a notification with 15-day cure period that has remained unanswered.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the courts with jurisdiction over Enveloppe's registered office, subject to mandatory public-order rules to the contrary.
